Poilievre et al sure read a lot into an offer by the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen who proposed opening the door to Canadian associate membership, a category which doesn't exist.
Now the USA orange headed leader is going to threaten us again IF he finds our dealing with the EU HOSTILE. After threatening us with not volunteer association, but involuntary statehood, he is off again in fantasy land
Poilievre as usual hasn't got a clue and starts the great imaginary "what if" game to stir up the Conservatives who still think he is a leader. Gaslighting, and fantasy go a long way in the ultra right rank and file, just ask Premier Smith in Alberta.
In the meantime! Keep it up Carney we need the investment and associations
Thanks Corey! PP will eventually get it, but too late to help his party or leadership thereof.
My concern is that the continued withering of his credibility reduces the expectation for a strong, confident His Majesty's Loyal Opposition to hold this government to account for transparency and results for Canadians. PMs with Carney's levels of support struggle to not become self-congratulatory and arrogant. Informed, credible opposition can counteract that tendency.
Continued pissing, moaning and self pity is not what makes for a credible HMLO!
Poilievre-Trump is a moron whom couldn't even win his own riding. No one cares what that mouth piece has to say. Imagine wherever would be if he was Prime Minister. He just needs to fuck off and head to the unemployment line.
As if on cue, the Orange Menace has provided yet another example of the risks of over-reliance on one customer, in his threat to source potash from Belarus. It will likely turn out to be just another of his failed attempts at distraction, but it ought to be ringing alarm bells in Edmonton just as it has in Regina. If ever there was an example of the importance of diversification, this is it.

Thanks for this Corey. Very helpful, as usual.

Poilievre is basically clueless
Pierre sees an opportunity to provide some disingenuous criticism. It has nothing what he "sees."
A very good article, Mr. Hogan.
